Return & Refund Policy Tasco Supermarket — Last Updated: April 2025


Overview

At Tasco Supermarket, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, most items can be returned within 7 days of purchase or delivery for a full refund or exchange. This policy applies to all purchases made in-store as well as orders placed through our website or the Tasco mobile app.


Eligible Items for Return

The following items are accepted for return:

  • Packaged grocery items (unopened, within expiry date)
  • Household and cleaning products (unopened)
  • Personal care and baby products (unopened and sealed)
  • Dairy and chilled products (if defective or spoiled upon delivery)
  • Any item that was delivered damaged or incorrectly

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Fresh meat, poultry, and seafood
  • Bakery and deli items
  • Opened or partially used products
  • Items past their expiry date
  • Gift cards and prepaid vouchers

Exception: If any perishable item is found to be of poor quality or spoiled at the time of delivery, please contact us within 24 hours with a photo. We will issue a full refund or send a replacement at no charge.


Returning an Online or App Order

  1. Contact our support team by phone, WhatsApp, or email within 7 days of receiving your order (or within 24 hours for perishable items).
  2. Share your order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. We will arrange a pickup from your delivery address, or you may return the item to your nearest Tasco branch.
  4. Once the item is inspected and approved, your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.

Returning an In-Store Purchase

Visit the customer service counter at any Tasco branch within 7 days of purchase. Please bring:

  • Your original receipt or proof of purchase
  • The item in its original or near-original condition
  • A valid CNIC for refunds above PKR 2,000

Our staff will inspect the item and process your refund or exchange on the spot.


Refund Methods

Refunds are issued based on the original payment method:

  • Cash (in-store): Refunded immediately at the counter
  • Credit / Debit Card: Reversed to the original card within 3–5 business days
  • JazzCash / EasyPaisa: Reversed to the original wallet within 2–3 business days
  • Tasco Store Credit: Applied to your account within 24 hours
  • Bank Transfer (COD): Processed within 3–5 business days

Customers may opt for Tasco Store Credit for a faster resolution. Store credit can be used toward any future purchase in-store or online.


Exchanges

If you received a wrong or damaged item, we will exchange it at no additional cost, subject to stock availability. If the item is out of stock, a full refund will be issued. For in-store exchanges, bring the item and your receipt to any branch. For online orders, contact our support team to arrange a pickup and re-delivery.


Special Notes

  • Halal-certified products: All Tasco meat and poultry is halal-certified. If you have any concern about a product's certification, contact us immediately for a replacement or full refund.
  • Promotional items: Products purchased on promotion or discount remain eligible for return at the price paid.
  • Imported products: Some imported items may fall under the manufacturer's return policy. Our team can advise on a case-by-case basis.
